Refined sawn timber meeting increased quality requirements beyond DIN 4074. Made from softwood squared sections, available for visible and non-visible applications. Finger-joints per EN 385, characteristic values per EN 338.

Higher strengths, freer shapes, larger dimensions
Glued laminated timber overcomes the natural dimensional limits of solid wood, enabling higher strengths, freer shapes and larger dimensions. Layers usually run perpendicular to the longer side of the cross-section.

Load-bearing applications — graded per DIN 4074, CE-marked
Sawn parallel to the trunk axis from logs, minimum thickness 6 mm, (approximately) rectangular cross-section. Graded per DIN 4074 (parts 1 and 5) for load-bearing use and CE-marked to DIN EN 14081-1 — timber structures, carpentry work, sawn timber for load-bearing applications.

Squared sections from 20 cm cross-section — for floors and load-bearing work
Technically a squared section: four right-angled edges, minimum thickness 4 cm per DIN 4074, cross-section height up to three times the width. A beam has at least 20 cm on the longer side of its cross-section — frequently used for wooden floors and beam ceilings.

Wooden boards used as construction-grade sawn timber have a minimum thickness of 40 mm; minimum width is three times the thickness. Direct from our own production at the sawmill near Leipzig — graded to size.

From debranched, debarked or rounded logs — today kiln-dried and milled precisely to the desired diameter. Quality per DIN 4074-2 (timber for wooden structural members, criteria for round construction timber). Used as masts, posts, palisades, dolphins and supports.
