Freshly split oak firewood from our own production. Oak features a high calorific value of approximately 2,100 kWh/srm, sustains embers for a long time and is resin-free — meaning no spark formation.

Resin-rich pine and mixed softwood, ideal for a crackling fire with pleasant aroma. Calorific values: pine and larch 1,700 kWh/srm, spruce 1,500 kWh/srm, fir 1,400 kWh/srm. Available short and long.

Pressed from approximately 98 % oak sawdust under high pressure, fully ecological with no chemical additives. Low ash, minimal smoke or soot thanks to low residual moisture, carbon-neutral. 1,000 kg of briquettes replace about 3 to 3.5 m³ of split firewood.

Four steps at our sawmill near Leipzig.
Regional hardwood and softwood logs, sorted by species in storage.
Mechanical splitting, grading by length (250 mm to 3.00 m).
Pre-storage or drying below 10 % residual moisture (coarse offcuts).
Loose cubic metres (srm) or stacked cubic metres (rm) — ready for collection.
Logistics
Firewood, slab-edge offcuts, slab firewood and briquettes are offered exclusively for collection — keeping logistics and pricing transparent.
Mon–Fri 8:00–17:00. Saturdays by arrangement. Address: Hauptstraße 1, 04668 Luppa/Wermsdorf (near Leipzig).
Construction timber and structural timber: nationwide delivery on individual request. Firewood, slab-edge offcuts and slab firewood: collection only.
