Slab-edge offcuts
Slab-edge offcuts (Säumlinge, also known as Spreißel) arise at the sawmill when boards are cut from logs.
Spreißel
They are a by-product and, depending on length and cross-section, can still be processed into other products such as mouldings or battens. With a cross-section under 5 cm² or short length, they are ideal as fuel for heating.

We offer slab-edge offcuts from our sawmill pre-stored in differently sized packs — available with capacities of 1, 2 and 3 stacked cubic metres (rm).
