Slab firewood
Alongside other firewood, slab firewood (Schwartenbrennholz) is also suitable for heating. The term "slab" refers to a by-product produced at the sawmill when processing tree trunks.
Slabs
Slabs are simply the outer section left after sawing a log into boards. They are rounded on one side, because that side was the outside of the trunk.
Pricing
Prices for slab firewood from our production are very competitive. In most cases the slabs are still unbarked and offered at a budget-friendly price point.
